It’s the kind of flower that practically demands a pairing. So we cooked one up: a lightly sweet, herbaceous appetizer that brings the strain’s terpene profile to life in every bite.

Why this pairing works

Pear Blossom’s dominant terpenes—β-Myrcene, α-Pinene, β-Pinene, and Terpinolene—give it a dynamic flavor profile that blends citrus, florals, earth, and spice. This crostini brings those notes to the table, literally, with:

  • Bright, juicy pear slices

  • Tangy, creamy goat cheese

  • Aromatic herbed honey, infused with Pear Blossom flower

It’s quick to make, easy to customize, and undeniably delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into ½" rounds

  • 4 oz goat cheese (softened)

  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced

  • 1–2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or thyme

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1–2 grams decarboxylated Pear Blossom CBD flower

  • Olive oil for brushing

Directions

  1. Infuse the honey:
    In a small saucepan, gently warm the honey and the decarbed Pear Blossom flower on low heat for about 30 minutes. Be careful not to let it boil. Strain out the plant material and stir in the chopped herbs.
  2. Toast the bread:
    Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake at 375°F for 7–8 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

  3. Assemble the crostini:
    Spread a layer of goat cheese on each crostini. Top with a pear slice (tossed in lemon juice to keep it fresh). Drizzle with the infused herbed honey and sprinkle with extra herbs or lemon zest if desired.

  4. Enjoy! This one is erfect for brunch, afternoon snacking, or as a fancy-but-easy party starter.
