Pipe was larger than expected...a nice cool not hot draw... once it’s broken in it’ll be better!
This is a great pipe, it looks great, and it's long enough that the draw is comfortable and not harsh at all. However make sure you can find the rush which is a bit small and can take a second to locate and definitely buy some pipe screens as the opening in the bowl is quite large and can cause some unpleasant chewiness on flower or ash if you pull a bit too much
This is a big wooden pipe, somewhat crude and primitive, but good quality for what it is. You need to pack a huge bowl, like more than half a gram, for it to burn properly. I tried it first with the Jupiter strain sold by Tweedle, and the flavor was excellent. This pipe is perfect for old hippie dudes to take on their walks in the woods.
The bowl smells very nice and you can definitely taste a hint of whiskey as you pull. The first inhale is a bit harsh but it it gets smoother the more it’s used. I think I’m gonna have to get another to give as a gift as someone’s first bowl.
I purchased 2 and gave one as a gift. Got a call later that evening thanking me for the gift. I was told that was the best gift he’d ever received in all his 60yrs of living! Lol. Had to go try it for myself and I agree. The first hit packs a powerful punch so pull slow but you quickly get the hang of it and you’ll love it! I don’t think I’ll go back to papers!! I purchased little circle screens to insert before the flowers and it keeps the bowl from getting clogged. I love it so much I tell everyone about it and I know 4 friends have already ordered theirs!!
