Sweet earth and a full-bodied musk that brings to mind purple cannabis. Crack the buds open and the aroma expands with bright fruity flavors like tropical fruit and sweet citrus candy.
Much like it's namesake, the painted lady butterfly, this flower is painted with shades of green, purple, and orange; each of which mixes beautifully with the quilt of sparkling white trichomes. The buds are extremely resinous and they exhibit an average size and density.
Fun fact: This strain is the result of many years of breeding. The team at Davis Hemp Farms traveled the continental United States searching for viable feral hemp seed, and after many generations of selective-breeding, were able to stabilize 6 unique variety of USDA total THC compliant flower. Curious what we mean by feral? It's basically wild hemp; also referred to as landrace. The feral hemp used in these genetics is descended from the industrial hemp grown and used by our forefathers.
